How we use your details
Who we are
The campaign of Benjamin Mwamburi for Member of Parliament, Mwatate ("the campaign").
What we collect
Only what you type into our forms: your name, phone number, optional email, where you are (country, ward or county and town), how you'd like to help, whether you're a registered voter and, if you choose, where you vote. For concerns, the problem you describe and — only if you give them — your name and phone.
Why
To organise volunteers, invite you to events in your area, reply to your messages, and understand what matters in each ward. We use it only with your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form.
Who sees it
A small number of named campaign coordinators. Volunteers do not see your phone number. We never sell your details or give them to anyone outside the campaign. Concerns appear on the website only after the team removes names and personal details.
Where it's kept
In a secured database run on Cloudflare. Every export and deletion by the team is logged.
How long
Until the end of the 2027 general election campaign, after which we delete it — or sooner if you ask.
Your rights
Under the Data Protection Act, 2019 you can ask to see, correct or delete your details, or to stop hearing from us. Email info@mwamburibenjamin.com or tell any coordinator, and we'll act within 7 days.
